Glo Pay4Me service is a value added service which could be very useful for prepaid customers running out of credit in their account. This service requires the called party to agree to pay for the calling party. With this service, the high rate of missed calls (flashing) and revenue lost from our customer due to low credit balance will be reduced significantly.

Glo Pay4me service is aimed towards subscribers that has low balance, no balance in their account/ don’t have sufficient money or access to buy recharge card at that moment, subscribers cannot reach their loved ones if they do not have sufficient balance in their account.

Glo Pay4Me service can empower you to reach out to your loved ones and business associates on the Glo network when you are out of airtime, low balance or want some one else to pay for your call even if you have a balance in your account.  With Glo Pay4Me “Flashing” and “insufficient airtime’’ can’t stop you from sharing great memories with your loved ones or reaching out to your business associates to seal deals.

How to enjoy the service

Glo Pay4me is an IVR based Service which is available to subscribers by calling over a toll free number 7733 followed by the Glo phone number.

The process to enjoy the service is given below:

  • Step 1:- Party A calls Party B using the prefix short code 7733 followed by the destination number. e.g. ‘’773308055573583 or 77338055573583’’
  • Step 2:- Party B receives the call with Party A CLI and when Party B takes the call party B gets to hear the IVR prompt (you have got a call from a customer who wants you to pay for this call. You will pay N7.50 for 30 seconds for the call, Press 1 to confirm and connect your call)
  • Step 3:- Once Party B confirms by pressing 1, the billing system checks for charging party B for the call.
  • Step 4:- Once the billing system confirm successful charging of N7.50 for 30 seconds, Both Parties are connected. 

Cost

For every successful call to party B is charged @ N7.50 for 30 seconds.
