1. What is the service Borrow Me Data all about?
This is a service that allows eligible customers to request for data credit when their data bundles are exhausted, out of airtime or in case of unsuccessful subscription bundle activation due to low balance.

2. Who can benefit from this service offering?
All prepaid customers on the Glo network can access this service.

3. How do I borrow data?
You have to dial *5321# and follow the menu options.

4. What are the different data bundles under borrow me data?
There are 5 data packages for the Borrow Me Data offering.

6. Is there a required minimum balance for one to attain to be considered eligible to borrow data?
No minimum balance is required.

7. Can I borrow data even though I have sufficient airtime in main balance?
Yes

8. Can I borrow credit in succession i.e. multiple times as stack up bundles?
No. You will have to clear debt of first borrowed data before borrowing another data pack.

9. Is the service chargeable?
Yes. A service fee of 15% is charged upon recuperation.

10. How do I repay the borrowed data credit?
You will repay credit borrowed whenever your account is recharged. i.e; (borrowed credit + service fee (15%))

11. Is there a specific duration for the paying off of credit borrowed?
No

12. I applied for Borrow me data but got a message informing me that I am not eligible.
This may occur for 2 reasons:
• You may have just joined the network recently thus not meeting the minimum age in network of 3 months.
• You may have an unpaid credit. You must settle this first before applying again.

13. What happens if I default in paying off the debt owed?
• Should your main balance have excess airtime, your account will be debited to defray debt owed.
• Should your main balance not have adequate airtime to defray the actual debt owed, existing balance in account will be used to cover that and when account is recharged the remaining Owings will be debited.

14. I applied for the Borrow me data long ago, yet, it was deducted this week.
Our system is designed to recover airtime as soon as it gets notified of your recharge and it deducts the borrowed credit accordingly.

15. Can I borrow data even though I have an active H.S.I bundle subscribed for?
Yes

16. Can I gift the borrowed data?
No

17. Can I share the borrowed data?
Yes

18. Can the unused borrowed data be carried forward?
No

19. Will I receive a notification if awarded with the borrowed data?
Yes .You will get a SMS notification informing you of the crediting of account.

20. Will I receive a notification if the borrowed data is about to expire and when it expires?
Yes. You will get a SMS notification informing you of thresholds reached and when it expires.

21. What happens to my Borrow Me Data in the event I replace my SIM card?
Your Borrow Me Data service remains intact and will be accessible once you replace your SIM card & the validity period allotted for bundle purchased has not expired.
