1. What is the GLO BEREKETE TARIFF PLAN?
BEREKETE is a prepaid tariff plan which rewards customers with amazing voice and data benefits every time they recharge their Glo lines with a minimum of N100. With BEREKETE, customers can satisfy their browsing and talking needs from the same recharge.
2. Who is eligible for BEREKETE?
All new and existing prepaid customers can subscribe to BEREKETE.
3. What benefits do I get on BEREKETE?
Berekete comes fully loaded with a lot of benefits for voice and data:
• A welcome bonus of N600 for all new customers upon successful activation of their lines. Successful activation means registering your SIM, recharging with minimum of N100 and making a first call
• A whopping 700% bonus on every recharge to call ALL NETWORKS and to browse the Internet
• Additional 150% data bonus on 1st recharge of the month (Up to 5GB FREE), every month for 4 months
• New customers also enjoy up to 100% bonus on every data plan they buy, every month for 4 months.
4. What are the detailed benefits that I will enjoy?
a. N600 welcome bonus, upon activation of a new GLO SIM. The bonus can be used for voice and data as follows:
i. N400 to call all networks at the rate of 70 kobo per second.
ii. N200 to use for data at the rate of N1/mb i.e. 200MB data
• You will be able to access this bonus after completing your SIM registration, recharging with minimum of N100 and making your first call
• Both voice and data bonus are valid for 7 days from when your line is credited
• Please note that the welcome bonus is a one-off benefit, that applies on the recharge with which you activated your new SIM. Subsequent recharges will not get the N600 bonus, but you will be entitled to a whopping 700% bonus.

5. How much do I pay for making calls on BEREKETE?
• Calls made from the main account balance are charged at 36k/sec
• Calls made from the voice bonus accounts are charged at 77k/sec
6. How is my account balance depleted when I make national voice calls?
Your account balance will be depleted in the following order:
One-off welcome bonus account Voice recharge bonus account Main account
7. Can I use my bonus for SMS?
No, all SMS will be charged from your main account at standard SMS rate of N4
8. Can I use my bonus for International Calls?
No, international calls and SMS will be charged from your main account at the applicable rates per destination
9. Can I use my bonus to subscribe for any value-added service?
NO, all value-added service subscriptions will be charged from main account at the applicable service rates
10. How do I use the Data Benefit?
You can use the data benefit as you like i.e. for browsing, chatting, social media, uploading, downloading, etc.
11. What happens if I buy a data plan while still enjoying my BEREKETE data bonus?
The data plan you bought will be paused. You will still continue to enjoy the BEREKETE data bonus. Once your BEREKETE data bonus expired or exhausted, the paused data bundle will become active automatically and your bundle validity counter will start.
12. What happens if I have an existing data plan and then recharge?
The BEREKETE bonus data will be added to your existing data volume and the higher validity period supersedes. For example, if you have an existing data plan of 2GB with 30 days validity and you recharge with N200, you will receive 80MB bonus and your new data balance will be 2.08GB with 30 days validity.
13. Will I get BEREKETE benefits if I recharge with Glo e-Top Up?
Yes, BEREKETE is available on both physical and e-recharge platforms.
14. How do I know if I have received the BEREKETE Bonus?
Confirmation messages will be sent to your phone after every recharge. In the unlikely event that a confirmation message is not received, kindly dial *230*1# to view your BEREKETE bonus.
15. I am already a Glo Customer; Can I subscribe to BEREKETE?
YES, all new customers, who are less than 4 months old on the network, will get BEREKETE by default. All other existing prepaid customers can subscribe by dialing *230#
16. Would I enjoy all the BEREKETE benefits as an existing customer?
Existing customers will enjoy the 700% bonus on all recharges, but they will not be entitled to the One-off welcome bonus as well as the bonus on data plan purchases.
17. What happens if I exhaust my BEREKETE Voice Bonus?
All your calls will be charged from your main account upon exhaustion or expiration of your voice bonus until your next recharge.
18. What if I’m unable to consume all my BEREKETE Bonus within the Validity Days
Unused bonus cannot be carried over unless another recharge is made within the 7 days bonus validity period.
19. Can I accumulate my BEREKETE bonuses?
YES, every recharge you make will increase the total airtime balance in your BEREKETE bonus account.
20. Can I share my BEREKETE bonus with another Glo customer?
NO, any value in the bonus account is not shareable or transferrable.
21. Is BEREKETE a promotional offer?
NO. BEREKETE is a tariff plan and customers will continue to enjoy the plan benefits for as long as they remain subscribed on it.
22. What if I want to migrate to another Glo Plan?
Simply dial the code of the plan you are migrating to. First migration within a month is free; subsequent migrations within the same month attracts a charge of N100 per migration. Note that you will lose any unused bonus upon migration, so we would enjoin you to fully utilize your bonuses before any migration.
23. How can I enjoy the Bonus on data plan purchases?
As a new GLO customer, you can enjoy up to 100% bonus when you buy a data plan. Simply dial *777# or visit hsi.glo.com to buy a data plan of your choice; you will get the data bonus automatically. This offer is available on all data plan purchases, for the 1st four months of joining the network.
