The Gloworld staff or Glo dealer staff after verifying your device compatibility, shall verify your NIN. After NIN verification, using customer’s device camera an e-SIM QR code will be scanned, and e-SIM profile will be activated.

The Activation and SIM swap process are same as existing physical SIM process. Instead of handing over a physical SIM to the customer, eSIM QR code is scanned on customer’s eSIM enabled device.

Steps for migrating on Android Devices:

1. Go to settings and delete eSIM profile from your current phone.
2. Go to Settings on the Android device You want to migrate to.
3. Open Settings > Connections (or Network & Internet).
4. Access SIM Manager: Tap SIM card manager or Mobile network > Add Mobile Plan.
5. Scan QR Code: Use your device’s camera to scan the QR code provided by the Glo world / Dealer Executive.
6. Activate Profile: Once downloaded, select the new eSIM profile to activate it.
7. Label Your Plan (Optional): You can name your eSIM plan for easy identification (e.g., “Glo eSIM”).
8. Test Connectivity: Ensure cellular data and calls work properly.

Steps for migrating on iPhone Devices:

1. Go to settings and delete eSIM profile from your current phone.
2. Go to Settings: Open Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan.
3. Scan QR Code: Use your iPhone’s camera to scan the QR code provided by the Gloworld or Dealer executive.
4. Download Profile: Your phone will download the eSIM profile.
5. Activate Profile: Once the download is complete, select the eSIM plan to activate it.
6. Label Your Plan (Optional): You can name your eSIM plan for easy identification (e.g., “Glo eSIM”).
7. Test Connectivity: Verify cellular data, calls, and messaging work as expected.
